There is an agreement on the Brdowski Bridge (Most Brdowski)

At the end of November, the conditions for the transfer of the crossing between Wyspa Ostrów Brdowski (Ostrów Brdowski Island) and Wyspa Gryfia (Gryfia Island) with Ludowa Street in Szczecin were agreed on in writing. This is an important step that will allow the city to take over the Brdowski Bridge. The initialization of the document ends the stage of many discussions and meetings on this matter.

In accordance with the provisions of the Agreement, the company Mars Most Brdowski (Mars Brdowski Bridge) will provide the City with the road connection as a donation. By taking over the Brodwski Bridge, the City will also take over all obligations related to the operation and maintenance of the connection. This is important and valuable information for entrepreneurs who run their businesses on these islands. Owing to this, they will be guaranteed a safe, free and permanent connection with the mainland part of Szczecin.

The handover of the Brdowski Bridge depends on the fulfillment of the conditions specified in the Construction Law (Prawo Budowlane) and in the ordinance of the Minister of Infrastructure (Minister Infrastruktury) and is associated with submitting detailed technical documentation for the benefit of the City. Therefore, only after completing the necessary formalities, Brdowski Bridge will change the owner.
