The Florian Krygier Municipal Stadium to have its operator

The City is looking for a lessee to manage the footfall complex at Twardowskiego Street for the next three years. This is a proven formula, which has passed muster for both the Szczecin Arena and the tennis courts in Szczecin.

As the property is intended for sports and recreational purposes, the lessee will have to maintain the sports function of the facility for the whole lease period. It is permitted to run eateries and conduct commercial and entertainment activities as activities accompanying sports activity. 

In addition, the lessee will be responsible for maintaining the property in due condition and order, and for providing security during mass and sports events. The requirements also include provisions on making the complex available for Pogoń Szczecin’s matches and training. 

In order to become an operator of the facility the tenderer needs to have at least three years of experience in managing a UEFA Category 3 stadium as a minimum, employ adequately skilled personnel and be experienced in organising mass events. The criterion for selection of the most advantageous tender will be the rate offered as a monthly rental amount.

Tenders can be submitted at the Municipal Residential Buildings and Flats Management Office until 15 January 2021, 12:00 noon.
