Summer holiday break in the Szczecin Philharmonic

Although the artistic season is over, the summer holidays are a special time when we try to devote time to preparing for the September campaign.

It is also an opportunity for clearing-up and renovation works. For this reason, the philharmonic building and box office will be closed from 1 July to 31 July. Nevertheless, we will not leave you without the possibility to visit the Ice Palace.

A special holiday sight-seeing tour of the Ice Palace

This is the only opportunity in July to enter the Philharmonic. This month we have prepared for you a series of sight-seeing tours in different languages led by our guides:

You can purchase sight-seeing tour tickets (10 zł/person) via our website up to one hour before the start of the tour. The number of tickets is limited. The Philharmonic reserves the right to cancel the sight-seeing tour due to the spaces being unavailable.

Exhibitions and new gallery opening hours

Our exhibition area does not stop operating during the summer holidays. In July, Paweł Nowak’s exhibition “Szczecin Retro” at Galeria Przy Cerkwi and Katarzyna Paskuda’s photography exhibition at level 4 gallery will be open to you. August exhibitions and vernissages will be announced soon.

We are also applying some changes regarding the operation of both galleries for the holiday period.

From 1 July, the exhibition area can be visited on:

Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., last entry at 3:30 p.m.

Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., last entry at 3:30 p.m.

The ticket price has also changed. From 1 July to 31 August, you can purchase a ticket which allows you to enter both galleries for 10 zlotys only via the Internet.

We are planning a lot of renovation and clearing-up works during the holiday period. We want to prepare the Philharmonic building for the new artistic season, in which we will be able to host our music lovers at concerts. Works related to minor renovations and modernisation will begin. Some of them may lead to difficulties with getting in contact with the Philharmonic. It is also a time for cleaning up the normally inaccessible spaces, inspection and maintenance of stage technology equipment.

Important months lie ahead. Along with them comes a new artistic season, new challenges and new activities. We want the Philharmonic to be an elegant, safe and comfortable space for you. We want the music, which we all love so much, to bring joy and respite from everyday life. And we want the Philharmonic to sound good.
