Nominees to the Sailing Awards announced

27 nominees, including 9 winners who will collects the International Szczecin Sailing Awards. The award ceremony will take place on 16 March at the Stara Rzeźnia (Old Slaughterhouse) Culture Centre.

The representatives of sailing circles and the City Office, members of the Sailing Awards Chapter, reviewed 71 submissions and selected the nominees to this year's Awards after a long and thorough discussion. It was a difficult task, because every submission included individuals and initiatives that have marked their place in sailing and were successful. The greatest number of submissions were made in the following categories: Sailing Regatta Competitor of the Year and Sailing Promoter (11). Seven submissions were entered for the Grand Prize, namely the Captain Ludomir Mączka Award.

 Winners will be selected from among the nominees. They will be announced on 16 March during  the gala of the International Szczecin Sailing Awards which will be held in the Old Slaughterhouse Culture Centre.
