Festival of Brands. A Film Festival on the Famous Avenue!

Film Meetings in the Pionier Cinema will add brilliance this year’s Festival of Brands on Wojska Polskiego Avenue. The programme of the Meetings features numerous attractions. The audience will see films related to Szczecin and remakes of popular productions. There will also be multimedia screenings, remarkable screenings with a silent film pianist and meetings with artists, hosted by Tomasz Raczek, a well-known film critic. You can already be purchase tickets for all meetings.

This year’s programme of the Festival of Brands has numerous interesting points. The highlight will be Film Meetings in the Pionier Cinema, which start on Friday, 17 September, and last until Sunday, 19 September.

“The review programme is diverse; it includes films referring to our city, remakes of famous productions, as well as films raising important and current issues,” said Tomasz Klek, the Spokesman of the Famous Avenue project. “There will be meetings with directors and actors, words, film and music shows and remarkable screenings with a silent film pianist, which are always popular.”

“Films included in the programme of the Meetings do not appear on the big screen very often. Therefore, this is a unique opportunity to see them with us,” said Jerzy Miśkiewicz from the Pionier Cinema. “For me, screenings with a silent film pianist are the most valuable. Even if the film is mediocre, but the silent film pianist can improvise, then it becomes a marvel! And at the Meetings, the silent film pianist will be really great! We have done screenings with a pianist before and we had viewers from all over the voivodeship, even families with children, and the hall was always full.
