Deckchairs in Park Kasprowicza (Kasprowicz Park), hammocks in Park Żeromskiego (Żeromski Park)

The implementation of the subsequent projects of the Szczecin Civic Budget (Szczeciński Budżet Obywatelski) is coming to its end. Year-round hammocks and deckchairs, including rotating ones, have already appeared in the public space.

First, the task was carried out in the Arkonka. Deckchairs were placed there. We can see some other ones by the Rusalka, where rotating deckchairs were installed on the other hand. Up to three people can rest on them at the same time.

The furniture structure is made of concrete and the seat of spruce wood. The boards are about 4 centimeters thick. In Park Żeromskiego you can also see city hammocks.

- The contractors have already reported the completion of their works. The commissioning process is ahead of us - informs Andrzej Kus, the city spokesman for municipal and environmental protection. - After their completion, residents will be able to use all 34 pieces of furniture. It is worth noting that both hammocks and deckchairs are available as all-year-round objects.

The contract was divided into several parts.

The second part, "Development of recreational areas in Szczecin - delivery and assembly of concrete deckchairs in the Arkonka Recreation Complex" („Zagospodarowanie terenów rekreacyjnych w Szczecinie - dostawa i montaż leżaków betonowych na Kompleksie Rekreacyjnym Arkonka”) was won by the KĘSBET Wyroby Betonowe (the KĘSBET Concrete Products) company. The cost of this part is PLN 33,770.14 gross.

Part three - "Development of recreational areas in Szczecin - supply and installation of rotating deckchairs in Kasprowicza Park" („Zagospodarowanie terenów rekreacyjnych w Szczecinie - dostawa i montaż leżaków obrotowych w Parku im. Kasprowicza”) was assigned to the Usługi Budowlane Wiesław Furtak (the Construction Services Wiesław Furtak). The Department of Municipal Services (Zakład Usług Komunalnych) will pay PLN 88 thousand for it.
