To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising, alarm sirens will be heard at exactly 5:00 p.m. on 1 August (Thursday).
On this day, a continuous acoustic signal will be transmitted for one minute. The sound of the alarm sirens is a way to commemorate the insurgents and all people who lost their lives during the Warsaw Uprising.
The transmitted signal does not require any action to be taken by the residents of Szczecin other than possibly stopping for a minute and reflecting on the occasion.
