    Szczecin celebrates 80 years!

Different places in the city centre

In 2025, Szczecin will celebrate the 80th anniversary of its incorporation into Poland. To mark this occasion, numerous events will be held throughout the year, organised by municipal institutions and partners. The highlights of the celebrations are planned for the first weekend in July – all citizens are cordially invited to join in the festivities.

On Saturday, 5 July, a large birthday party will be held in the Rose Garden. Between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m., visitors can enjoy a varied programme with cake, live music, a dance event and games and activities for children. In the evening, the history of the city will come to life in a historical re-enactment at the town hall. Afterwards, those interested can visit a diorama exhibition. The festivities will conclude with an elaborate mapping show on the façade of the town hall.
