Memorial events feature medallists, finalists and participants from the biggest athletics competitions, including the Olympic Games, World Championships and European Championships.

The Memorial is not only a top-level sporting spectacle, but also a true celebration of athletics in Szczecin. Every year, crowds of supporters fill the stands, and the event’s unique atmosphere makes it popular with both adults and children.

Combining international prestige, sporting excitement and local identity, the meeting holds a special place on the Polish athletics calendar. Today, the Wiesław Maniak International Memorial is one of the most important athletics meetings in Poland and continues to strengthen its position internationally.
