A Palace at the Villa

The LENTZ VILLA is preparing the world premiere of its new stage production, a play titled A Palace at the Villa, whose action is set, like our previous spectacles (1888. The Villa of Love and Frida: A Collector from Szczecin's Westend) in the historical interiors of the Willa Lentza.
This new play will take the audience to the year 1955, when an anniversary concert is being prepared at the ‘Palace of Youth’, a Szczecin cultural institution ‘for youth upbringing and education’ (established in 1950). An unfortunate incident directly before the event threatens to ruin the plans for the carefully designed ceremony. Can the organisers running that young educational and cultural centre cope at such a difficult moment? Who is to blame? Who is telling the truth, and who is lying? Why are all the concert organisers and participants alike now suspected of posing a threat?
These and other questions will be answered in the crime comedy A Palace at the Villa, in which the roles of those involved in the incident that took place nearly seven decades ago are played by Szczecin-based actors.
