Tristis Diabolus

Katarzyna Jackowska

TRAFO CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY ART
This is the third solo project by Paweł Szamburski, following Ceratitis Capitata (his debut album dedicated to the liturgical music of the Mediterranean) and Uroboros (focused on rites of passage).
Tristis Diabolus is a musical and spoken-word narrative in which Szamburski, drawing on the extraordinary texts of Marcin Wicha, explores the cultural phenomenon of the devil — in his many guises: czort, bies, and beyond. These texts, now bearing even deeper meaning, serve as a poignant testament to the sensitivity and talent of their author, whom we have so recently lost.
Tickets: 50 PLN on the day of the concert / 35 PLN in advance
