Third Concert of the ‘Musical Intervention’ Project

This musical and poetic tribute is dedicated to two legendary artists, Ewa Demarczyk and Marek Grechuta. Both are gems of Polish music, whose extraordinary voices and interpretations have left an indelible mark. Such unique talents emerge only once in a generation.
Ewa Demarczyk made her stage debut in 1962 at the Piwnica pod Baranami, where she soon became known as the "Black Angel of Piwnica". Marek Grechuta first appeared with the band Anawa in 1966, in Kraków. Their performances mesmerised not only Polish audiences but also captivated listeners in other languages and countries.
"Do You Remember?" is a concert prepared by the artists of Piwnica pod Baranami in homage to Demarczyk and Grechuta. The event will feature a selection of their iconic works, including "Tomaszów", "Ballada o cudownych narodzinach Bolesława Krzywoustego", "Groszki i róże", "Skrzypek Hercowicza", "Na moście w Avignon", "Grande Valse Brillante", "Będziesz moją Panią", "Zabij ten lęk", "Gdziekolwiek", "Takiej miłości", "Niebieski młyn", "Puchowy śnieg tren", "Nad zrębem planety", "Kraków", and many more, including hymns from the Piwnica repertoire.
