    Szczecin Philharmonic

An extraordinary double recital by two outstanding Polish pianists from the 19th International Chopin Competition: Zuzanna Sejbuk and Krzysztof Wierciński. Both will present a selection of Chopin's works that they prepared for the competition.

Zuzanna Sejbuk from Szczecin began playing the piano at the age of five and is now studying at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw with Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just. She is a multiple prize winner at national and international competitions, including the Grand Prix at Piano Talents for Europe (2021) and the National Chopin Competition in Turzno (2022). Her performance at the 19th Chopin Competition was praised for its clear sound, brilliant articulation and expressive cantilena.

Krzysztof Wierciński comes from a family of musicians, began playing at the age of seven and also studies in Ławrynowicz-Just's class. He too has won numerous prizes, including at the International Chopin Competition in Rzeszów, the ISCAR Competition in Lugano and the Arthur Rubinstein in Memoriam Competition. Among his most recent successes is third prize at the 51st National Fryderyk Chopin Competition, where his expressiveness and attention to detail were highlighted.
