Memory | A Recital of Polish Song
Katarzyna Jackowska
Community Centre “13 Muses”
Polish song, sung poetry and quiet nostalgia come together in Memory, an intimate recital built around lyrics, emotion and musical storytelling.
The programme will take listeners through some of the songs that have left a lasting mark on Polish culture, alongside less obvious works that invite rediscovery. The evening will include pieces shaped by reflection, love, longing and memory, with songs such as Groszki i róże, known from the repertoire of Ewa Demarczyk, and Marek Grechuta’s Będziesz moją panią.
Performed in the Fireplace Room, the recital offers a chamber setting for audiences who want to slow down, listen closely and return to music that stays in the mind long after the final note.
