Joanna Trzepiecińska is a theatre, film and television actress, as well as a singer. In earlier years she was associated with Teatr Studio, appearing in now-legendary productions directed by Jerzy Grzegorzewski – the great magician of Polish theatre. For several years she has been a member of the ensemble of the Polish Theatre in Warsaw, under the artistic direction of Andrzej Seweryn.
For many years she has appeared on stages across Poland with her recitals, performances that epitomise professionalism, refined taste and natural charm. Her musical education has found full expression in this recital form, allowing audiences to admire her not only on screen but also as a live performer.
About the recital
There comes a moment in life when reckless romantic impulses are behind us, yet the need to love – and to be loved – never truly fades. Joanna Trzepiecińska reflects on this stage of life through songs by outstanding lyricists and songwriters: Agnieszka Osiecka, Wojciech Młynarski, Jeremi Przybora and Marian Hemar.
During the recital, the artist will be accompanied by the eminent jazz pianist Bogdan Hołownia.
