The undisputed First Lady of Polish Song, beloved by generations of listeners, celebrates her 90th birthday this year. To mark this special occasion, the artist will embark on a unique Jubilee Concert Tour, performing in some of the most prestigious concert halls across Poland.
Irena Santor's Benefis will kick off on 17 December 2024 at the ROMA Musical Theatre in Warsaw, where the entire concert will be recorded by TVP. The jubilee performances will feature unforgettable hits, brought to life by the phenomenal Polyphonics band – a 10-member vocal ensemble accompanied by an instrumental group, all conducted by Paweł Głowiński.
The musical journey will be enriched by stories and memories shared by Irena Santor herself, who will participate in every concert. It is the heartfelt wish of the "Greatest Lady of the Polish Stage" that her music continues to resonate with audiences. Just as in the past, the grandest Polish venues will be filled with the tender sounds, melancholy, and sincere emotions that gave birth to the artist’s most cherished compositions.
