International Festival “Musical Friendships”

Katarzyna Jackowska

Sanktuarium Najświętszego Serca Pana Jezusa
The international festival “Musical Friendships” brings together musicians from Poland, Germany, and Ukraine with the aim of fostering cultural cooperation and expanding the performers’ repertoires with works from neighbouring countries. Another key goal is to present the music of these three nations on international stages.
The festival also commemorates several important anniversaries: the 340th birthday and 275th anniversary of the death of Johann Sebastian Bach, the 65th anniversary of the Szczecin Boys’ Choir SŁOWIKI, and the 65th anniversary of the Lviv National Music Academy Orchestra.
Supported by the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation and the City of Szczecin, the festival is celebrated with concerts by renowned international ensembles such as the Stuttgart Baroque Collegium and the Lviv National Music Academy Orchestra.
Admission to all events is free.
