A unique celebration of jazz in the heart of Szczecin!

The Jazz Top Gala brings together the winners of the annual Jazz Forum magazine poll, honouring the most outstanding figures of the Polish jazz scene. This year’s edition offers a rare opportunity to experience live performances by the artists shaping the sound of contemporary jazz.

Performers:

• Aga Zaryan – One of Poland’s most distinguished jazz vocalists, known for her warm, velvety voice, subtle phrasing, and refined elegance. As the first Polish artist signed to Blue Note Records, she has won numerous awards, including multiple Fryderyk Awards.

• Marcin Wasilewski Trio – One of Poland’s most internationally acclaimed jazz ensembles, signed to the legendary ECM Records. Their delicate arrangements and masterful performances have captivated both critics and audiences worldwide. The trio has collaborated with icons such as Tomasz Stańko and Joe Lovano.

• EABS – The modern face of Polish jazz. This Wrocław-based collective blends jazz, hip-hop, and electronic music, gaining international recognition for their innovative reinterpretations of Krzysztof Komeda’s works.

• Grzegorz Nagórski – A brilliant jazz trombonist, known for his virtuosity and expressive style, delivering performances that are a true delight for jazz enthusiasts.

• Maciej Sikała – A saxophone virtuoso, legendary in Polish jazz circles. His energetic and masterful improvisations have earned him admiration from critics and fans alike. Recently awarded the prestigious title of "professor belwederski", he continues to shape the Polish jazz landscape. Congratulations, Professor!

The Gala Jazz Top will also serve as the opening event of the international conference "World Jazz Network Meets Polish Jazz", taking place in Szczecin from 12th to 15th March 2025. The conference will bring together key figures from the global jazz community, offering Polish artists a gateway to the international stage.
