This concert is a journey into the heart of nature as seen through the eyes of composers. From the waves of the Scottish Hebrides and the depths of Lithuanian forests to landscapes steeped in history and folklore, nature in this music is far from idyllic. It is the primary source of emotion.
The evening’s soloist will be Jarosław Nadrzycki, an internationally renowned violinist and prize-winner of competitions including the Khachaturian Competition in Yerevan, the Enescu Competition in Bucharest, the Heifetz Competition in Vilnius, the Rostal Competition in Berlin, and Valsesia Musica in Italy, among many others.
