All Souls’ Day with the Blues
Katarzyna Jackowska

"Słowianin" Community Centre
For years, November in Słowianin has been synonymous with the Blues All Souls’ Day. This concert is dedicated to the memory of artists who have left a significant mark on the history of music.
AFTER BLUES: a legend of the Szczecin blues scene. Founded in 1980, the band has been delighting audiences for over four decades with its unique sound – a restrained, atmospheric blues with a ballad-like character. The backbone of the band is formed by Leszek Piłat and Waldemar Baranowski – musicians who have developed their own style, combining instrumental virtuosity with extraordinary musical sensitivity.
SZULERZY: for over two decades, they have been proving that the blues can get you up and dancing. Their original style – ‘blues’n’roll’ – is an energetic blend of rhythm and blues, rock and roll, swing and soul, spiced up with Polish lyrics and a distinctive stage presence. Founded in 2001, this band from Inowrocław has developed a sound that is hard to mistake for any other on the Polish blues scene.
W KORCU MAKU: Szczecin-based artists who blend poetry with music full of warmth and subtle emotions. Monika Frankowicz’s velvety voice and Waldemar Baranowski’s atmospheric guitar arrangements create an intimate atmosphere that invites you to pause for a moment and listen to the sounds.
As always, we encourage you to bring food for stray cats. The donations collected will be passed on to animal welfare organisations.
