Japan Fest is a long-standing cultural event in Szczecin, held annually since 2008, celebrating the rich culture and history of Japan. Each year, experts and enthusiasts collaborate to craft a diverse program that introduces audiences to the fascinating world of Japanese art, traditions, and contemporary social trends.
This year’s event will feature an exciting lineup of demonstrations, workshops, concerts, lectures, and interactive sessions with individuals who have deep knowledge of Japan. For hands-on participants, thematic workshops will provide an engaging way to explore Japanese craftsmanship and creativity.
The festival aims to establish an open platform for exchanging ideas and insights on Asian culture in its broadest sense. Japan Fest places a strong emphasis on direct engagement with experts across Asian art, culture, and tradition. Festival-goers are encouraged to go beyond passive participation, joining in discussions, training sessions, and workshops to make their own contributions to the festival experience.
Japan Fest 2024 builds on the series of events initially organized by the ENSO Association and reintroduced in 2021 by the Szczecin Asia Club.
