About Sissi Schwegler and the Philosophy of the Film "Dorian Gray"

Katarzyna Jackowska

CKE Stara Rzeźnia, ul. Wendy 14
Sissi Schwegler has recently embraced painting in the autumn of her life.
For her, painting is a remedy for both body and mind. Her art therapy is both creative and communicative, with some of her graphics almost speaking, despite their lack of words. Painting demands more than mere dedication; it is different from Oliver Parker's 2009 film adaptation of Oscar Wilde's 1891 novel "The Picture of Dorian Gray."
Guest speaker Prof. Angelo Rella will delve into the philosophy of the aforementioned film. The event will conclude with a concert by Jacek Rudnicki.
Admission is free.
