The Pionier Cinema
The Pionier Cinema in Szczecin invites audiences on every Saturday in May to enjoy classic films by Alfred Hitchcock.
The review is part of the Masterful Quintet series and will feature celebrated works by the master of suspense: Rear Window, North by Northwest, Vertigo, Psycho and The Birds. All films will be shown from digitally restored copies, with the cinema setting adding to the atmosphere of these special screenings.
North by Northwest
The most adventurous film in the selection and one of the most famous spy thrillers in cinema history. The story of an ordinary man drawn into an international conspiracy combines suspense, humour and spectacular set pieces, including the iconic chase through a cornfield. In North by Northwest, Hitchcock reveals his lighter side, while remaining in perfect control.
