DokumentART - films & future
Katarzyna Jackowska

INKU Creative Sectors Incubator
The European documentary film festival dokumentART – the 31st edition of one of the most interesting short and medium-length film festivals in Europe.
The programme will include animation sections, screenings of films by young filmmakers from Poland and Germany, and presentations by two European art schools: HFBK Hamburg and the Academy of Art in Szczecin. DokumentART is a renowned film event held every day in Neubrandenburg – just an hour's drive from the Polish border. Every year, it presents over 70 films from all over Europe, addressing contemporary and important topics: migration, technology, interpersonal relationships, social change and everyday culture. This year's motto, ‘films & future’, encourages reflection on how cinema can inspire visions of a better future – even in a world full of challenges. The event focuses on new voices in European cinema – both debutants and established artists – and intercultural dialogue, connecting Central and Eastern Europe with Western Europe.
Admission to all events is free.
