Deckchair Cinema 2026

Deckchair Cinema returns to Szczecin’s neighbourhoods, inviting residents to spend summer evenings together in the open air.

This year’s edition will feature 10 special screenings, taking place every Thursday from 25 June to 3 September in different parts of the city.

This year, the programme has been divided into three themed film cycles. Oscar Nights will open the season with four award-winning and moving stories acclaimed by audiences and critics around the world. We will then invite you to Cinema on the Wave – three films full of emotion and summer energy. The summer finale will belong to Road Cinema, a series in which the characters set off on a journey – both across the world and through their own experiences.

As every year, we will make sure participants are comfortable. Deckchairs, blankets and mosquito repellent will be available on site, and in case of bad weather we will provide rain ponchos. There will also be a cinema buffet with popcorn and cold drinks, with card payments accepted.
