Idealistic Festival 8 Szczecin

Idealistic Festival returns for its eighth edition, with this year’s festival taking place in Szczecin for the first time.
The event brings together independent Polish, Danish and international artists, combining experimental, improvised and cross-genre music with visual art. Since its inception, Idealistic has focused on artistic independence rather than genre labels or popularity, presenting creators with distinctive voices and individual approaches to sound.
The Szczecin programme will feature a series of 30-minute sets, including a solo performance by Italian sound artist Francesco Toninelli, an acoustic improvised concert by Szczecin percussionist Cyprian Pakuła, the album premiere of the Emilia Gołos and Zuza Jasińska duo, and electronic performances by Robert Piotrowicz and Kasia Gawlik.
The festival also moves away from the traditional concert format. Using Tubatek, a large-scale ceramic sound system created by Beata Zając and Zofia Pysz, it places both artists and audience at the centre of the space.
