Żagle 2022: Here is the detailed programme

The Żagle 2022 event is just two weeks away. So the time has come to present the programme for the three-day event. And you are going to be really having it…
The floating bridge connecting the two banks will be open after 10 a.m. During this time, preparations will be underway at various points around the city for the event, which will kick off at 4 p.m. – and in full flow. At the quay from the direction of Jana z Kolna Street, it will be possible to visit beautiful vessels, including Iskra, Gorch Fock, Bryza, Bonawentura, Kattenturm, Baltic Bauty, Amanda, Nawigator, ORP Toruń and Generał Zaruski. At the same time, the Alley of Artists will be launched on Chrobry Embankment with unique handicraft products by artists from all over Poland. The Fair under the Sails, theme park and children’s zone will also already be open. At 6 p.m. shanty concerts will begin on the terrace at Centaur and at 8 p.m. a DJ will play in the craft beer zone. On the right bank at 4 p.m., local bands will play on the main stage and Patrycja Markowska with her band will conclude the programme. The performances will last until 11 p.m.

Saturday is also full of attractions. It will begin with the “Run Under the Sails”, which will start at the square on Łasztownia by the Szczecin sign. You will be able to visit the host vessels throughout the day and at 11:30 a.m… go on a cruise on them around our reservoirs.

Throughout the day, a lot of interesting events will be taking place both at Łasztownia and on Chrobry Embankment by the Adam Mickiewicz monument, Grodzka Island and even in the Summer Theatre. Children will have great fun in the Children’s Zone and at the theme parks and there will again be the opportunity to visit the decks of yachts or take a cruise on the Szczecin’s waters. And in the evening, Viki Gabor will sing at Łasztownia.

Sunday will be the final day of the event, but just as exciting as the previous two. There will be cruises, tours and a fair. The shanty stage will host artists conveying a sailing vibe. There will also be concerts on board the ORP Toruń. The march and presentation under the cranes by brass bands will also be an interesting spectacle. And in the evening, Grzegorz Hyży will sing on the Łasztownia stage.
