Show what you love Szczecin for

Oder boulevards, unusual monuments, captivating architecture, or perhaps fascinating nature intertwined with the urban fabric? Lovers of photography really have a lot of possibilities, since Szczecin is one of the most beautiful and, at the same time, most unique cities in Poland. The fifth edition of the SznLove photography competition has just started. During the previous ones, participants submitted a total of over… 4,500 unique snapshots presenting the beauty of the capital of Western Pomerania!

How to participate in the competition

As in the previous year, this time too, participants have to make works that fit into one of three categories: “Green Szczecin”, “From a bird’s eye view” and “Floating Garden”. To enter the competition, photographs must be submitted using a special form available on the competition website Importantly, participants may submit several different shots at each stage of the competition, but they must bear in mind that they can only be awarded once.

      What is worth knowing

The winners of this year’s competition will be three participants whose works will be selected by the competition jury. The jury consists of representatives of the Municipal Office, the Szczecin Artistic Agency and Żegluga Szczecińska Turystyka Wydarzenia.

In addition, at each stage of the competition, three competitors will also be selected, whose photographs at a given stage are the most highly rated by the jury. They will receive additional prizes, namely high-quality photographic accessories.

This year’s edition of the Szczecin Love photography competition, like the previous ones, has also been divided into three stages. The last one will close on 20 September and winners will be announced a few days later.

Detailed information about the competition, including its rules and regulations, information on who can participate, and a thorough schedule of the respective stages can be found on the competition website (
