      Szczecin Participatory Budget 2023: The first votes have been cast

      The first days of voting for the Szczecin Participatory Budget projects are behind us. This year, 153 projects (including 39 citywide projects and 114 local projects) were on the ballot.

      The voting is open until 13 December, 12:00 p.m. Every resident of Szczecin can participate in the voting, regardless of age and registered place of residence.

      This year’s pool for Szczecin Participatory Budget projects amounts to PLN 17 520 000.

      Let’s vote! It’s simple!

      NOTE: Each person can cast 5 votes:

      2 votes for citywide projects,

      3 votes for local projects.

      Remember! You can cast up to two votes for a single project (citywide or local).

      In order for your vote to be valid, you need to cast at least 1 vote. Voting is not zoned – you can vote for projects from any location.

      How to vote?

      Voting for projects takes two forms:

      - Electronic:

      Electronic voting is managed by an IT system. Votes can be cast from any place at any time. All you need is Internet access.

      - Paper:

      Voting on paper sheets takes place by completing the voting sheet and delivering it to the Szczecin City Office by:

      - placing the sheet in a special box located in the Szczecin City Office at 1 Armii Krajowej Square or the City Office Branch at 39-40 Rydla Street;

      - sending the voting sheet to the City Office by post to the following address: 1 Armii Krajowej Square, 70-456 Szczecin or to the City Office Branch to the following address: 39-40 Rydla Street, 70-783 Szczecin with an inscription of the envelope “Głosowanie SBO 2023”.

      Remember! The date of receipt of the vote by the Office shall determines whether the vote has been cast within due time.

      Voting points arranged by the City Hall:

      1. Szczecin City Hall, 1 Armii Krajowej Square (middle entrance), Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 
      2. City Hall Branch, 39-40 Rydla Street, Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

      Voting points arranged as part of the Szczecin Participatory Budget Academy:

      1. Lotników Square during the Szczecin Christmas Fair, 10-11.12.2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
      2. Turzyn shopping centre, 03.12.2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

      The residents can also use the special voting bus – BUDŻETOBUS.

      Voting sheets for projects submitted to the Szczecin Participatory Budget 2022 can be collected in voting points arranged by the City Office and as part of the Szczecin Participatory Budget Academy, or downloaded from the “pliki do pobrania” tab on www.sbo.szczecin.eu.
