Scandinavian Days 2024 are almost here
Timely topics, business, education, and lifestyle. We are looking forward to two days of discussions, meetings and workshops as part of an event called Scandinavian Days. The event that has been developing Szczecin for a decade.
“We are an excellent port and logistics hub for our northern neighbours. Szczecin's convenient location is appreciated not only by tourists but also by entrepreneurs, as over 170 businesses with Scandinavian capital have been operating here. The recent visit by the King of Denmark himself is the best testimony to the key role of our city,” stressed Piotr Krzystek, Mayor of Szczecin.
The cooperation between Szczecin and Scandinavian countries has been developing for years, becoming increasingly stronger. Openness to innovation and development, and the awareness of the significance of ecology in everyday life are some of the things that these cooperation partners have in common. That is why Szczecin is a natural venue of the Scandinavian Days.
The leitmotif of this year’s tenth edition is “Artificial intelligence and education of the future - between technology and social responsibility”, so the Scandinavian Days will be full of discussions and examples of how technology affects the industry and its individual sectors, what opportunities and challenges can arise from implementing artificial intelligence in business processes, and how education can adapt to new labour market requirements. Topics related to business ethics, data protection, and equality will also be discussed.
Numerous accompanying events have been planned, including countless cultural attractions, a bike rally, a colourful parade along the city streets, and the Scandinavian Picnic. It is a perfect opportunity to have great fun and relax outdoors “hygge” style, and to get to know the culture of Nordic countries in the atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding.
The 10th Scandinavian Days will be held on 9 and 10 May 2024 at Technopark Pomerania in Szczecin. The partners of the event are the Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce (SPCC), and the Szczecin Water Supply and Sewage Authority.
