Bulwarove – the perfect place to start your holiday

The holidays are knocking at the door. Along with them, we are returning with our summer series of events on the boulevards – Bulwarove. The first event is already scheduled for the weekend of 25-26 June.

This year we will meet four times as part of our series of events. The first “Bulwarovy weekend” is going to take place on 25-26 June. There will be plenty free animations and workshops, as well as runs, both for children and adults. The first edition of Bulwarove will be themed around ecology. As always, you will be given an opportunity to relax, eat well and have a good time here.

On Saturday morning, the first of this year’s Run over the Clear Oder River in Szczecin – Biegowe Bulwarove – will begin. The competitors will have a distance of 5 km to run through.

“The route was set through the boulevards, the bridge towards the Grodzka Island and the area around the marina”, informed Celina Wołosz, Spokesperson for Żegluga Szczecińska Turystyka Wydarzenia. “Each competitor will receive a commemorative medal and will be able to have their photo taken on our finisher’s wall. The children’s runs will be no different. Medals, which have been designed by the youngest runners, will later shine on their chests. The children will also receive sweet gifts at the finish line”.

Running is only one part of our weekend event. Throughout Saturday and Sunday, visitors to the boulevards can count on lots of interesting attractions.

“This month we will focus on environmental education and raising awareness from an early age”, said Celina Wołosz. “For children there will be ecological workshops on waste segregation, large-format bicycle puzzles and other board games in large scale. The square will also be full of a variety of toys that will be freely available to every child. There will be bowling, deck tennis, slides, giant building blocks and much more.”

In the chillout zone you will be able to relax, lie back in a sun lounger, get some sun and enjoy the surrounding space. There will be music, blankets, pouffes, green lawns and much more.

While you are on the boulevards, it is always worth visiting the neighbouring Grodzka Island. There you can feel like you were in an exotic paradise. Palm trees, a sandy beach and sun loungers make the time pass differently. And there are plenty of attractions too. You can spend weekend evenings in the great company of Szczecin’s music DJs. For the younger ones, games and activities are organised.
